You consider a single prayer that was 'answered' during your life time as a high success rate.
You constantly challenge the work of respected scientists who established the age of the Earth as billions of years old through sound scientific practices, but have no problem believing the word of ancient tribesman who think it's only several generations old.
You believe followers of every other religion will spend an eternity in Hell, but still consider your religion the most tolerant and understanding.
You believe ancient old debunked myths like Witchcraft are still relevant today and will therefore avoid Harry Potter movies just to be safe.
You are insulted when scientists say we evolved from other life forms, but have no problem believing we were created from dirt.

You think it quite reasonable that a man could horde 2 of every animal on the planet, put them in a boat, and have enough food to keep them alive for 40 days.

Myself I'm a Catholic and Catholics don't take everything in the Bible literally. If God created humans through evolution then so what. Tolerance? Well, we're more tolerant of Communists than Communists are of Christians, we're more tolerant of Queers than Queers are of Christians, and we're definitely more tolerant than Moslems.
What Catholics or Orthodox ever became outraged when someone denied the existence of God? If someone wants to believe that the universe created itself, who cares? Catholics do not speak in tongues. Catholics do not believe that we are the center of the universe and as for life elsewhere in the universe there just may be other life out there we just don't know yet.
Catholics were never forbidden to see Harry Potter movies. Different Christian denominations believe different things but in your ignorance you don't know that. Defending Pastors who are outed...don't know what you mean by that. By open mind you mean a person should allow all kinds of garbage to enter their mind and then accept it as being OK no matter how immoral or evil it is. All in all it sounds like you are especially bigoted and closed minded when it comes to religion.
